Storytime & Treasure Hunt
September 19, 2019

Australian Reading Hour is a once-a-year event that encourages all Australians to stop what they are doing and read for one hour. With so many benefits associated with reading – from helping kids get a head-start in school to helping adults relax – reading is something that is too important.

So to help celebrate Australian Reading Hour, Harry Hartog Green Hills will be hosting an hour long story-time, with visiting authors, Katrina McKelvey and Choechoe Brereton and of course, our lovely booksellers. We will be reading a host of different titles but seeming as the 19th is also ‘Talk Like A Pirate Day’, a few pirate stories may end up in the mix and we will follow the storytime with a special treasure hunt in store too! Come join us as we celebrate all things reading in this fantastic hour!
